My name is Michael Anthony, a songwriter from a small town in Maryland. In the simplest terms, music has always run in my blood. It’s a part of who I am. When I’m not in the studio, you'll find me bouncing between construction jobs and working on a ranch. In my downtime, I'm somewhere with a guitar trying to make sense of life the only way I know how; by writing about it.

Music has always been my outlet. Playing, writing, or just listening has helped me through everything I've ever faced. Every song I’ve written came from somewhere real. Every word in every line is something I’ve lived, someone I’ve loved, mistakes I’ve made, or moments I wish I could get back.  When you listen to my songs, you’re hearing a piece of my life; a piece of me. More than anything, I hope these songs can do the same for somebody else. I want people to hear them on the drive home after a long day, in a bar with friends, or alone at night when life feels heavy; to feel like somebody understands what they’re carrying.

Becoming a “Nashville recording artist” is something I never thought I’d be able to say. I’ve come a long way from staying up all night writing songs in college apartments. It’s truly a blessing to be able to chase this dream.​ The support I’ve received so far has changed my life. From my family putting up with the constant guitar playing around the house, to my band always having my back - That’s what keeps me going. It means more to me than I’ll ever be able to put into words. I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I have so far. I just can’t wait to see what comes next!
